Distinguish of manmade leather and synthetic leather:

Manmade leather sets knitting cloth as base and daubs with high molecular synthetic material at the surface.

Synthetic leather sets non-woven cloth as base and daubs with high molecular synthetic material at the surface.

Manmade leather and synthetic leather are called as counterfeited leather.

Identifying natural leather and counterfeited leather

1、Looking at the section of material, you could see natural collagen fiber if it were natural leather, and you could see knitting cloth and daubed cloth if it were manmade leather, while it were synthetic leather you could see non-woven cloth and daubed cloth in the section.

2、Identifying from burning smells of the material

You could smell the collagen if a natural leather burned. No other identification on normal leather

1、Cow leather: There are smaller and deeper patterns in cow leather. It is comfortable to touch cow leather. The patterns would not disappear even though you push the leather with your finger from the inner side of leather (others: the surface of buffalo leather is coarse, while the surface of yak is soft and exquisite)

2、Antelope leather: the patterns are clear and like waves. The depth of pattern is not as deep as cow leather (besides, the sheep leather is soft and elastic. It is felt as touching elastic silk and down)

3、Pig leather: the surface of pig leather is coarse, with large and deep pores. Usually there are three pores stay together. Pig leather is elastic with good ventilation performance (it would be better to polish or emboss the leather)
