There are 7 criteria to evaluate on quality of costume materials as follows:

1、Intensity of breaking: the higher intensity of breaking, the better performance on duration.

2、Expansion of breaking: high quality material shall have greater expansion capability and good elasticity, which enables it to keep o good shape.

3、Width: the distance between sidelong (in latitude) is width. Smaller arithmetical ratio is acceptable. The range of arithmetical ratio differs according to variety of material. However, there is standard for them.

4、Weight: the weight of material depends on the thickness and density of gauze. The heavier material is, the more gauze it contains.

5、Density: density is in direct ratio with its intensity and weight. Normally the density in longitude is slightly larger than latitude.

6、Shrink: the degree of shrink is different in terms of longitude and latitude when material soak in water.

7、Stability o dye: stability of dye means the tolerance of dye to outer environment, including tolerance to sunshine, soap, rubbing and sweat.
